Paris
After a good night’s sleep we revisited Strada Cafe where we went back in September and temperatures were in the mid 30s!
Paris has a totally different vibe to when we were here in September. Admittedly it was summer and Rugby World Cup was being hosted. However, we are more than happy in 10-13 degrees, just need a good coat and scarf. It is more relaxing and obviously less people around, a great time to be in Paris! Although some people would argue any time is a great time to be in Paris!
Got ourselves a 10 pass travel card and caught the Metro to La Motte-Piquet Grenelle and a short walk to the Eiffel Tower.
Started walking back to Saint-Jacques along the Seine. The river is a very popular area for runners, we would have passed (they passed us) 100s before we decided to catch the 63 bus from Pont Alexandre 111 back to Cluny, then a short walk back to the apartment.
Pont Alexandre 111
After a rest back at Rue Saint-Jacques it was grocery shopping at Monprix close to apartment then Blvd Saint Germain for tonight’s chicken dinner. A great area for bread, wine, cheese and meats!
A great first full day in Paris!
