Harrogate - York

After a hearty breakfast we headed to Harrogate. Weather has certainly cooled down but no rain at this stage.

                   Farewell to the Boar’s Head

The mighty Corsar is ready to go!

Wandered around Harrogate. The well known Betty’s tearooms.

By 12pm there was a good-sized queue! Due to our full Yorkshire breakfast, we had no need to check out Betty’s.

Montpellier Street

                                  Beulah Street

                               Commercial Street

Came across this shop …Mr  Arkwright’s. Some of you of a certain age will remember a certain TV programme!

After a coffee stop, we drove on to York and checked into our accommodation, a short walk from the centre of York.  Found a lovely wee pub and a pint of John Smith bitter.
