Tivoli Park
This morning we walked to Tivoli Park, about 1.5km from the apartment. First stop … coffee. Came across a very cool cafe we had not seen before, they even had flat whites on the menu!
Once coffee was done it was off to Tivoli. Tivoli Park, also known as Tivoli City Park, is the largest green space in Ljubljana. The park was designed in 1813 and consists of 5 sq kms.
17th century Tivoli Mansion House - international centre of graphic arts.
The city has recently cleaned up the pond where fish, amphibians and native plants are now thriving.
And an outdoor area (tiered seating) for performances - we could have something similar in Cathedral Square!
Back into town for lunch, then back to the apartment to rest up after our 10000 steps before 3pm! Never get tired of this view overlooking the old town up towards the castle.
Beautiful!!
