Granville Square
Walked up to Angel and tubed to Hampstead with the idea of having a walk around Hampstead Heath, but the weather curtailed that.
Flash Walk in Hampstead
Looked in a few shops, coffee then tubed back to Angel and Sainsbury’s for dinner shopping.
After lunch I walked down to Russell Square as the weather had cleared.
This magnificent building is adjacent to Russell Square, and turns out that Emmeline (Emily) Pankhurst and her family lived on the site from 1888-1893.
Walked back through Coram’s Fields and came across this magnificent 200 year old Plane tree.
One of the many wonderful things about London is the number of greens, parks or squares you stumble across. Even in a city of around 12 million people, there is usually somewhere you can go to relax in a green space.
