Winwick Park - Coronation Street

Took Pablo for a walk after breakfast.

The bridge is very popular with ‘train-spotters’.

Made our way back through the estate.

Family photos … Charlotte, Glen and Ophelia.

Tom with Atticus and Arlo

In the afternoon we drove into Manchester and the ITV studios for the … Coronation Street experience!! 🥳

Started off with an 8 minute clip of 60 years on the Street.

Then on to the Weatherfield  Police Station for a surprise cast appearance from. … David Platt!!

Callum (on left), was our guide and he warned us the tour would be full of smut and innuendo, he did not disappoint!! 🏉

Then on to Victoria Street and Speed Daal, but no curry for us!

Dev’s doner kebab shop where Chezney works

Roy’s Rolls for a cup of tea and a barm cake.

Tracey Barlow’s Florist

Steve MacDonald’s Street Cars

Then on to Coronation Street and the famous cobbles!

Then of course we had to ‘pull’ a pint!

And then check out the ginnel

Jack & Vera Duckworth’s place, they were very proud of their cladding, now occupied by Tyrone.

Dev’s corner shop

The Kabin for the Weatherfield Gazette and sweets.

Thought about catching the bus back to Winwick Park, but got tired of waiting, so David offered us a lift!

Then on to the exhibition centre - loved this line from Ena Sharples! 🤣

A great experience on the Coronation Street set with plenty of humour and banter provided by Callum!

Back to Winwick Park and dinner at The Swan with a pint of bitter  and a wine - a great day!
