Granville Square (London)
Woke up to rain so threw our coats on and grabbed an umbrella and down the road for the No 63 bus to Blackfriars and the Tate Modern.
A good way to spend a few hours on a wet London day, but quite a few others had the same idea, including more than one school group!
We did Level 1 today and will head back for more before we leave London.
Matise
Took a liking to these 2 pieces; first one Egil Jacobsen and second one Karel Appel. See description below.
And a Picasso - description below.
Walked out to the Thames River and crossed back over the river via Southwark Bridge.
Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
Picked up some lunch and ate overlooking St Paul’s.
Back to Granville Square before heading to Angel for grocery shopping for dinner.
Pre dinner drink at The Exmouth Arms … the place was chocka inside and busy outside!
